About Us
We are a family of five who have moved out of the city to get back to our roots. Okay, maybe more like Chris' roots. Chris was born and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma on his grandparents farm, which was once one of the most successful dairies in Oklahoma. He has fond memories of learning the ins and outs of cattle along side his father and grandparents. Chris is currently in his 18th year of active duty service in the Navy. While he loves serving his country, the farm is where his heart is. He works hard seven days a week and is ever so graciously teaching his wife Caila (me!), the ropes. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Right smack in the middle of city life. But this, what we're doing now, feels more like home than anything/anywhere else ever has. We have three kids who are happy, wild, and homeschooled. They work and play right along side us.
We are passionate about the livestock on our farm and the blessings that they provide. Being able to limit the amount of goods purchased from the store and nourishing ourselves with food from our own land and animals is a great feeling. We know there are many who feel the same but may not have the means or space to do so. Community is important to us and we felt called to love our neighbor by providing herdshare opportunites to our local community members, so everyone can reap the benefits of raw milk.
1 Peter 4:10 "Each of you should use whatever gift you have recieved to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms"
